Do you care of the peole living with HIV/Aids?
About this event: VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT TRAINING

Just thinking of you as one of the people living with HIV/Aids is one thing that should make you ask the following question, "How would you feel if you are shunned by friends because of your status?" It is disheartenning indead. During my encounter with some of the PLWA during the training, I came to realise that we need to come together to realy fight the stigma. May be this time it is your neighbour and the next time it is your brother or sister. We need to do a lot of work to remove the stigma and embrace these angels into our society because it is not their fault that they are HIV positive.

Youth and the Youths agenda
About this event: Youth and Environment and Technology
Related to country: Kenya

It was on a short notice that we received information that we had been invited to an open youth forum to touch on Youth, Environment, and Technology. The event went on well and I would like very much to Thank Patricia Sudi for her time spent on organizing the event. We were very much informed, inspired, and involved. Kudos to all those who participated and let's all spread the Gospel of TIG.

Global Young Greens congress
About this event: Global Young Greens launch

When I joined taking it global forum, I never new things could be such good. Just a fortnight ago, I attended a Global Young Greens founding congress. This could not have been possible without the TIG forum. This just explains the need for networking among people of different background as this will enable people to share ideas that would have otherwise been lost in the graves of history.
My experience at the congress was ecstatic and I must admit that there are a lot of things that the youth can learn from one another through such forums.
It downed on me that there are many youth who also have the vision for a better world. The only limitation could be the resources to accomplish these visions. What we can do therefore is to try and ensure that there are resources for all these youths so that they can also have a role to play for the betterment of the future generation’s future.
I would like to finish this blog by saying a big thank you to the TIG team for their continued dedication for the online communication and it is our entire hope that this forum will be kept going by all of us who believe in the possibility of a better world for all.
